[ Minato mirrors that small smile, turning so that he lightly bumps shoulders with Sora before facing forward again so they can keep going. That's about all the confrontation he'd meant to have, apparently. ]
I'll listen whenever you feel like it. Or even if you don't feel like it, but you need somebody anyways. I'll be there.
[ That's the sort of promise he thinks he can make and keep; the sort where he would also drop everything if he were called, if this is an area in which he, uniquely, could help. ]
[Sora's smile widens, moving to keep pace with his cousin as they walk. It's nice, to have someone who understands without him having to say anything.]
...Thanks.
[He pauses, thinking for a moment.]
And, um, you too. You can talk to me if you want. I'm a pretty good listener, I think.
[ Having somebody to listen is always nice, even if Minato is the sort to not speak and prefer people who are a bit chattier and enjoy filling the silences that he creates. But maybe this would be better- he doesn't have a lot of people who are going through the same things he is, and Sora is family. He wouldn't be as easily turned away as a friend would, nor is Minato as scared of his judgement as he is scared of Minako's. ]
Mm. I'll text you sometimes. Low pressure conversations you don't have to answer right away.
[ That sort of stuff he prefers, not like the direct confrontation of a phone call or in person meeting which he can't take his time on or escape from if needed. ]
